RV Tank Pump-Out on Vancouver Island: Get Back to the Trip You Planned
You didn’t buy an RV to spend your weekend stressed about a holding tank.
Whether you’re a weekend camper trying to squeeze every hour out of a long weekend, a full-timer who needs things to just work, or a campground operator keeping a park full of happy guests, a full holding tank shouldn’t be the thing that derails your plans.
Here’s how to take care of it, and get back to the part you actually came for.
What Does an RV Pump-Out Actually Involve?
A professional pump-out uses a vacuum truck to fully empty your holding tank — the tank that collects waste from your toilet and, in some setups, grey water from sinks and showers. The whole thing typically takes 15–30 minutes depending on tank size and access.
The best part: we come to you. Your campsite, your storage facility, your driveway; wherever the rig is, that’s where we show up.
How Often Do You Actually Need One?
A good rule of thumb: pump out when your tank hits about two-thirds full, or before you head to your next destination so you start fresh.
For full-timers or extended trips, that might be every 3–7 days. For weekend campers, it might just be at the end of the season or before a big trip. For park model trailers and mobile homes on holding tanks, a monthly or quarterly schedule prevents the kind of backup that turns into a much bigger (and more expensive!) headache.
Your Site, Your Schedule
No dump station at your campground? Parked at a storage facility? Waiting near the Swartz Bay terminal before a ferry? No problem.
We serve RV owners and operators all across Vancouver Island — from Victoria, Saanich, Langford, and Sooke, through the Cowichan Valley (Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Lake Cowichan), up through Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Courtenay, the Comox Valley, and Campbell River.
Not sure if we reach your spot? Call us. We’ll tell you straight.
If You Manage a Campground or RV Park
Your guests want to relax, not worry about whether the dump station can handle the weekend rush. We work with park operators across Vancouver Island on weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly service agreements, so your park keeps running smoothly whether you have full sewer hookups or not.
